The Quick Creator is an ultra-quick website creation flow (four steps or less!). Designed to shorten the sales cycle, it allows the sales team to give prospects a great first impression and let them really see their business come to life. The flow can easily be used by anyone, regardless of technical proficiency. This enables any member of your sales team to benefit from this tool.

Helping sales sell more websites

How do you help a potential client understand what their website would look like?

Small business owners are busy, with their minds elsewhere. They don't have the capacity to guess and imagine what a sales person is explaining in words.

Making a proposal site takes the guesswork and imagination out of the equation. It's quick enough to not be a big time investment, but tailored enough for the prospect to see their website come to life.

The problem many sales people encounter is that they don't have the expertise or technical skills to create a proposal site themselves. Without an easy enough tool, such as Quick Creator, sales team would have to either spend a lot of time fiddling to build a proposal site, or get help from the design team. Helping sales is not necessarily a good use of the designers' time, however, when they have their own core tasks they need to focus on.

It's important that sales teams take ownership of the proposal website creation process. Empowering sales to independently handle the development of mock-up websites ensures a smoother and swifter sales process.

We designed the Quick Creator with all these factors in mind.

Benefits of the Quick Creator:

  • Easy to use (no technical skills required)
  • Quick (four steps or less to finish the flow)
  • Easily accessible – login from simple login page. No need to fiddle around in RAI
  • Shortens the sales cycle
  • Efficient and fast way to create highly personalised websites
  • Website is auto-populated with the prospect’s information, saving the sales team valuable time.

How to build a proposal website with the Quick Creator

First, you need to enable Quick Creator, either by creating a support ticket if you are a Mono Partner, or signing up for a demo of our platform if not.

You can access the Quick Creator through the link: qc.mono.site. Simply log in with your RAI login credentials.

1: Enter the Business Details

The first step is to enter the Business Details of the company you wish to build the website for.

You can either fill in the business details manually, by simply typing the details into the fields, or you can add the information automatically through Google My Business (GMB). To add information automatically with Google My Business (GMB), fill in the ‘Company Name’ field and search by clicking the Loop Icon.

Once you select the business that you want to go forward with, the information from GMB will automatically be filled out on the form. The e-mail address must be filled out manually as it cannot be fetched with GMB.

2: Fill in account information (optional step)

Here, you can add the customer’s account information, such as name, e-mail and phone number. You can also assign them to a customer ID, but this is optional.

3: Add more company details (optional step)

You can add more content to your website on the “Tell us more” page. This is an optional step, however adding more content could improve the look and feel of the website. This is helpful if you wish to present a more finished result to a prospective customer.

The content will appear on different parts of the website depending on which template you are using, and how it has been personalized.

4: Select an industry-tailored template

For the final step, you are presented with a menu of industries. Under each industry, you will find a selection of templates. Select your preferred template.

The industries are hand-picked by you, the partner. This allows you to pick the exact templates your sales team needs, and assign them to the industries your company serves.

Your quick site is now done and can be shared with prospective customers! Simply send them a copy of the Preview Link that appears in this step.

The power of tailored industry-specific templates

The fulfilment team has complete control over which templates are available for the Sales Team to use in the Quick Creator.

In the Reseller Administration Interface (RAI), the fulfilment team can choose which templates are available in the Quick Creator, tailor them to specific verticals, and customise them using Global Content Tags, so the information from the Quick Creator flow is atomically added to the finished website.

Once the fulfilment team has approved industry templates for the Quick Creator, the team can focus on fulfilling existing, revenue-generating customer websites rather than spending time creating costly website mock-ups.
